Ayyappan is an associate professor at the SRM College of Physiotherapy, SRM IST, India, and is a
registered physiotherapist in India. He holds a master's degree in advanced PT physiotherapy in
orthopaedics. In addition, he has completed a variety of Diploma and Certificate courses in Fitness,
Sports and Physiology. He has been practising physiotherapy and fitness in hospitals and fitness
centres for more than 12 years. In association with international researchers, he is an active
researcher in the field of Exercise Genomics, Fitness & Obesity Control and Movement Analysis. He is
an expert in biomechanics and fitness. Ayyappan published 12 research papers in international
journals.
