Assuman NUHU is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Dean of the School of health Sciences, College of medicine and health Sciences at the University of Rwanda. He held numerous previous administrative positions including, Head of Department of physiotherapy, Member of the Research ethics and consultancy committee (RECC). He holds PhD in physiotherapy from University of Cape Town, Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy and Bachelor Degree University of the Western Cape and Advanced diploma in physiotherapy from Kigali Health Institute (currently UR-CMHS) He has strong teaching and research experience and his practical experience includes participating in numerous consulting projects with more than 15 publications, he is serving as Vice Chair of the “Rwandan Physical Therapy Organization” (RPTO), Member of the Executive committee of Organisation Rwandaise de Médecine du sport “ORDEMES”, Member of the Medical commission of the Rwanda National Olympic Committee and Registered Member of “Rwanda Allied Health Professions council.
